In a first of its kind, a children’s movie is made commercially in Kannada. Generally notified in art category, this movie has children playing prime roles. ‘Girmit’ is making some noise for the right reasons. With its trailer released, the movie is all set to hit theaters on November 8.

So, What’s so special about the trailer?

The hero and heroine of this movie are kids. The whole idea of casting kids to this extent is in itself a big step. Yash and Radhika have lent their voice for kids roles. Scenes of love, action, drama, mass and everything that is present in a commercial film is done by kids here. Ravi Basrur is the maker of this innovative movie and he has also composed music for it. Arambhave Anandave…the song that is hummed everywhere is from Girmit. Children have essayed the roles of every person and this is something which could be seen in theater only. Yash and radhika have lent voices for Raj and Rashmi, the lead characters of the movie.

Puneeth Rajkumar has presented this movie under the banner of Omkar Movies and various star artists have dubbed for it. N S Rakumar has financed the project. Suraj Chowdhary and Narenchandra Chowdhary have joined hands in production. Screenplay and Dialogues to this movie is by Pramod Maravante, Kinnal Raj, Sandeep Sirsi, Suchan Shetty and Manjunath. Ashlesh Raj, Shlaagha Saaligrama, Aradhya Shetty, Tanisha Koni, Jayendra, Nagaraj Japthi, Aditya Kundapura and Sinchana Koteshwara have played prime roles in Girmit.
The movie is all set to hit theaters in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and English simultaneously worldwide on November 8.
