Who doesn’t like desserts? Well, we all crave for it. But quarantine has put a bracket on all our cravings. Don’t worry. Here is a very simple recipe that needs fewer ingredients and tastes like heaven. Amidst all this covid thing we forgot it was mango season as well. So, here is a mango treat. Go treat yourself !
Mango (peeled and diced) – 1/2 cup
Hung curd/ Greek Yogurt – 2 tbsp
Brown sugar – 1/2 cup
Almonds, walnuts, cashews, hazelnuts(any dry nuts of your choice, roughly chopped) – 1/2 cup
Take a bowl and add mango and hung curd or Greek yogurt to it. Fold them neatly. Divide this mixture into equal proportions to suit your jars or glasses. First layer of mixture should then be topped by a spoon of brown sugar.
Cover the containers with plastic wrap and refrigerate until sugar melts. This takes about 1 to 2 hours. Top with toasted nuts mixture and serve chilled.
Note: The options of adding fruits is open ended. So feel free to add any fresh or dry fruits.
