Simpler the better

Avoid wearing heavy jewelry. Simple studs and thin chains are much better. You would want to bathe more than once in a day. Removing jewelry each time would definitely be a problem. If you decide to keep it on you always, then calculate your patience level according to it.

Earrings and chains wouldn’t be of much problem. If you are a ring person, those multiple pieces of metal and stones may turn into infectious zone on your hands. If you remove jewelry before washing your hands and then wear if after, the dirt and sweat will be back on your skin through them.

Jewelry first

Before washing your hands with water and soap, remove your rings first. Wash them clean with mild soap and lukewarm water. Now wash your hands thoroughly and pat dry. After this, wear your rings. Repeat the same while using sanitizer as well. Otherwise, soap or sanitizers might just sit behind your jewelry or beneath the stones. Mild alcohol in sanitizers may spoil the shine and texture of precious stones or metal in due course.
When all this lockdown ends, you would definitely want to shine in your best jewelry, isn’t it? For now, concentrate on your hygiene and spare the rest for sunny days.
