Pulav is a go to recipe in many homes. Served for lunch, lunch box and a one pot meal this is staple in its own kind. How about preparing a slightly different masala pulav with some leftover stuff in fridge.

Ingredients:
Oil – 2 tbsp
Ginger chopped – 1tsp
Onion chopped – 2 tbsp
Capsicum red chopped – 1tbsp
Tomatoes chopped – 2 tbsp
Garlic chopped – 1 tsp
Green chilly chopped – 1 no
Capsicum green chopped – 1tbsp
Capsicum yellow chopped – 1tbsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Leftover rice or jeera rice

Method:
Heat a pan, add oil, chopped garlic, ginger, green chilly and saute. Add chopped onions and peppers and stir for a minute. Now add chopped tomatoes and stir fry for 2 mins. Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Stir and add whisked curd. Cook till the curd leaves water and dries up. Add the cooked jeera rice. gently lift and mix the rice. Add chopped coriander and mint leaves and toss again. Remove and serve hot.
