Watermelon has high water and mild acidic content. This otherwise is a good thing when eaten during daytime. But, digestion power of the body reduces post evening. Hence it is always recommended to have light dinners. Watermelon on the other hand may upset stomach in many cases. Reduced digestive power and acidic food never go hand in hand. Hence avoid the red beauties in night.
Watermelon has high water and sugar content. We choose the sweetest melon, don’t we? But this same sweet plays villain during night. High sugar intake is not good for last meal of the day. It may fluctuate blood sugar levels in few people. A few others may end up with multiple trips to bathroom.
