Any concentrated extract is a bunch of protein. Though these herbs do well to our health, they are only taken in moderation. For instance, umbelifer is said to be the best medicine to cure several problems of nervous system. But, even in Ayurveda where it is used extensively for treatment the quantity, concentration is much lesser. Which means drinking this daily is definitely overloading the goodness of the herb which might turn worse.
Protein overdose is said to cause severe permanent damages to human body. In the long run, it is said to cause organ failure as well. Protein synthesis happens with a certain quantity and speed in the body. When such drinks are consumed on a daily basis, kidney and liver will have an extra load of functioning that may lead to failure of the organs.
As they say, everything is good with moderation. Any good that exceeds its limits, will turn worst. Hence though these tiny cups of herbal concoctions may do more harm than help. So watch out what you want to dump down your throat next time.
